Moving to Springtown, Texas with All My Sons Moving & Storage

Springtown is a charming farm and ranching community, home to a population of 2,000 residents.1 The Springtown movers of All My Sons Moving & Storage are the trusted and reliable movers you can count on to help you relocate.

A True Hometown Experience

In 1856, Joseph Ward of New Jersey settled on the site where Springtown now lies, on a creek fed by numerous springs seventeen miles northeast of Weatherford. Three years later, Ward designed the town square and named the place Littleton’s Springs after a pioneer family. Fast forward to the mid-1870s and the name was changed to Springtown, following a petition made by 200 residents.2

Springtown, from that moment, began to grow. Public schools were eventually added and in 1936, Springtown High School was incorporated in the Parker County school system. Because of the increase in the Springtown-Fort Worth population, the residential population has since nearly doubled.2

Springtown today still remains the small, quiet town Joseph Ward founded, despite continued growth. Residents are always kind and helpful. Annual events throughout the year such as the Wild West Festival & Christmas on the Square bring together the whole community.

Where To Eat

Moving to Springtown may leave you famished. As our trusted movers are unpacking your belongings in your new home, head on over to El Cerrito Cantina. This hot-spot of authentic Mexican food is widely raved about by locals. With a friendly staff and an appetizing menu, their food will definitely “hit the spot.” If you’re more of a wine connoisseur, then you may want to indulge at the winery at La Buena Vida. This tiny winery offers excellent wine and cheese as the owner tells you the story behind each wine bottle.

Get Active

Once our Springtown movers help you settle into your new hometown, it doesn't hurt to get out there and get the blood flowing by exercising. The GEM Community Center offers residents a wide variety of physical activities. Similar to the YMCA, other amenities and programs at the GEM include the pool and a gym featuring aerobics classes like ZUMBA, free weights, cardio equipment, a full training circuit, and more.
