How to Disinfect Your Home

Embarking on a new chapter of your life in a new home is an exciting time. Although there might be a global pandemic going on due to the COVID-19 outbreak, moving into a new home is a wonderful adventure. Although the world has entered unimaginable times, now more than ever before, it is crucial to disinfect your home. The expert Birmingham movers of All My Sons Moving & Storage are here to share a few tips for sanitizing your home.

Tips for Sanitizing Your Home

Here at All My Sons Moving & Storage, our Birmingham residential movers are the experts at sanitizing your home. Keep in mind these tips as we all come together during this unpredictable time. Our team wears face masks and gloves and maintains a safe distance between everyone involved throughout your move. Do your part and disinfect your home.

1. Clean your entire house
As you are spring cleaning, make sure you are cleaning from top to bottom and getting every inch of your home. Especially with the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important you are cleaning your entire home to get rid of any germs and bacteria. Use soap and water and any cleaner you might be able to get your hands on during the COVID-19 outbreak. Pick up any loose articles that are scattered throughout your home and put them away where they belong. Make sure you are reaching every high and low area to get rid of all unwanted germs.

2. Wipe and spray all surfaces
One of the most important things you must do during this COVID-19 outbreak is to wipe and spray all surfaces with a disinfectant. Some of these cleaners are harsh, so beware of any alarming odors. Use a mask and gloves when you disinfect your home with these chemicals. Also, make sure the rooms have proper ventilation to eliminate the strong odors.

If you are unable to find household disinfectant, you can make a homemade bleach solution that is safe on most surfaces. Your bleach solution will be strong enough to eliminate coronavirus and other pesky bacteria and viruses. Make sure you are following the proper instructions and staying safe as you sanitize your home.

Our team is dedicated to serving the Birmingham community during this tragic time. We encourage all residents to stay safe and take the necessary precautions against the novel case of coronavirus. As our team does their part to protect and maintain a healthy environment on the road, we hope you follow in our footsteps, as long as you’re at least 6 feet away. While moving during the COVID-19 pandemic may sound scary, we promise we will do our best to shield you from any risks. Remember to disinfect your home and maintain a clean living environment.
