The thing is, it’s a wonder how Columbus isn’t on the news all the time for being so great. It has been rated as one of the most intelligent cities in the world. Yes, you read that correct, in the world. If that doesn’t do it for the run of the mill intellectual, how about the fact that more than 10% of the population has a graduate degree. On top of being one of the most intelligent cities in the world and high population of educated people, Columbus also has an extraordinarily low unemployment rate. Whether you are the type of person that just graduated college and are looking for a job, or you are the type of person that wants to live in an educated community, Columbus is the place for you.

Does it get any better than that?

The actual percentage of the population that has a graduate degree is 11.5%, with 22.4% of the population having a bachelor’s degree. That is a large percentage of people for a time when going to college is so exorbitantly expensive. Bloomberg Businessweek actually named it as one of the best cities for new college graduates.
