Why Moving Into a Raleigh Dorm is Right for You

Going away to college for the first time? While packing and organizing 18 years of your life into a handful of boxes may seem stressful, have no fear because you are not alone. Not only are most campus cafeteria’s within walking distance (and if you get really lucky, sometimes next door) but this eliminates the stress of having to grocery shop on a college student budget. Most meal plans are significantly cheaper than dining out at restaurants and stocking up on groceries on a weekly basis. Plus, having a meal plan means you do not have to worry about cooking. Or cleaning. Or having to eat ramen noodles on days that end in –y (unless you want to). Win!
Toga! Toga! Toga! Living in a dorm means you will most likely live within walking distance of all those recreational facilities you heard about during orientation. You won’t have to worry about finding a parking spot every time you want to take advantage of the student gym or more importantly make your debut at your first toga party.
