Non Allowables: The Items Provided Below Cannot Transport

The Following Items We Ask For All Parties To Have Packed And Secured In An Area Labeled Do Not Move Or Have All Items That Will Be Moved By You Placed In Your Vehicle Prior To Arrival Of Our Moving Services, So No One Will Have Access Or Load Items That Are Not To Be Moved By Carrier. These Items Include, But Are Not Limited To; Personal Papers, Jewelry (Includes All Types), Coins Monies And Non Allowables.

Disconnecting/Reconnecting

You, The Shipper, Are Responsible For The Disconnect And Reconnect Of

All Appliances And Electronics (Washer, Dryers, Computers, Tv’S, Vcr, Etc)

All My Sons Moving &Amp;Amp; Storage Cannot &Amp;Amp; Will Not Be Liable For The Mechanical Condition Of Appliances Or Electronics, Unless These Items Was In A Form Of Neglect From One Of Our Employees Mishandling. If You Pack Yourself, You Are Solely Held Responsible For Packing And Any Damage There Of: Cannot And Will Not Be The Responsibility Or Liability Of All My Sons Moving &Amp;Amp; Storage Or Any Of The Company’S Representatives.

Refrigerators And Freezers Should Be Disconnected 24 Hrs Prior To

Our Arrival (Includes Ice Makers) (If Storage Is Needed Then All Refrigerator &Amp;Amp; Freezers Require The 24 Hour Prior Disconnect And Completey Wiped Out To Keep These Items From Having Potential Mildew Or Mold.

Disassembly/Reassembly

All My Sons Will Perform All Disassembly And Reassembly Of Basic Furniture Items With The Exception Of Particle Board, Engineered Wood And Pressboard Furniture Pieces. (Please See Pressboard For Further Explanation.

Due To Insurance Liability, We Cannot Perform The Disassembly Or Reassemblly Of Outdoor Play Equipment Or Exercise Equipment. Due To Liability Concerns With Reassembly Of Items That We Did Not Disassemble,

All My Sons Moving And Storage Will Only Reassemble Items That We Have Disassembeled.

Packing

All Boxes Packed By You, The Shipper, Are Referred To As, Pbo. (Packed By Owner) We Cannot Be Held Liable For Damages During Transportation Or Handling With Cartons Packed By Shipper Of Household Contents. All Cartons Used For Packing Should Be New, Due To Durability Of The Box. Used Cartons.

Please Seal All Cartons With Tape And Have Your Last Name On Every Carton. Also Indicate The Contents And Whether Items Are Fragile Or If Certain Cartons Require To Be Top Load Due To The Nature Of Items In The Packed Carton.

Due To Carrier Liability, All My Sons Moving And Storage Cannot Transport Any Gargage Bags, Trash Bags, And Totes Without Lids Or Loose Items. All Items Other Than Furniture, Is Required To Have Packed By You Or Carrier (At An Additional Charge) For The Protection &Amp;Amp; Safety Of Transporting Items.

Pictures/Mirrors/Glass

All Pictures, Marble Tops, Mirrors And All Glass Pictures, Table Tops, Beveled Glass And So Forth Are Required To Be Packed And Secured Prior To Moving Said Items. The Performance Of Our Crew Is To Relocate Your Household Possessions With Taking All Necessary Precautions To Perform This To Your Expectations. Please Contact Us If You Will Need Packing Of These Contacts So Our Staff Will Be Prepared Or Arrange Packing Of These Items 1-2 Days Prior To Your Move Date.

**Due To Liability Reasons, All My Sons Moving And Storage And Representatives Cannot Remove Any Window Treatments, Shelving That Is Attached To Walls And Items From Crawl Spaces Or Attics That Do Not Have Permanent Stairs Or Permanent Flooring.

Televisons, Computers, Dvds, Stereo Components, Front Load Washers

All Crt Tv’S 19” Or Smaller Are Required To Be Boxed Prior To Transport. We Will Pad Wrap 20 Inch And Larger Excluding, Plasma Tv’S. Plaza Tv’S Require Special Handling; We Need To Be Notified If We Will Be Transporting A Plaza Tv. (Dimensions Will Be Required For Securing The Plazma Tv &Amp;Amp; Additional Charges Will Apply.

Front Load Washers Requires - Special Handling. Due To The Type Of Appliance American Moving And Storage Requests That You Have This Particular Item At Both Origin And Destination, 3Rd Party Service Or The Shipper (Our Customer) Can Secure The Drum With Shipping Pins (Provided At Time Of Purchase &Amp;Amp; Delivery) And Disconnect/Reconnect Your Front-Load Washer. (All My Sons Moving &Amp;Amp; Storage Cannot Perform This Services Due To Liabilty Reasons)

Origin / Destination – Walk Through

We Request That Either The Shipper And/Or Both Shipper And Crewleader Perform A Walk Through At The End Prior To Leaving Origin. Origin Walk Through Should Consist Of Walking Through Each Room And Closets To Verify All Items Are Removed From Residence. Shipper Releases All My Sons Moving &Amp;Amp; Storage From Any Liabilities Of Articles Left At Origin Once Carrier (All My Sons Moving &Amp;Amp; Storage) Has Left The Property.

Upon Completion At Delivery, Verify With Crew All Items Have Been Removed From Truck And Walk Through To Verify All Items Are Placed And/Or Reassembled.

We Ask To Please Be Mindful Of Small Children And Pets During The Moving Process So Our Crew Can Perform In A Timely And Efficient Manner. Little Ones Are Easily Injured Underfoot And Under Furniture Pieces. We Need Everyones Cooperation To Perform A Safe And Successful Relocation For You.

Cancellation Due To Weather /Rescheduling

All My Sons Moving &Amp;Amp; Storage Reserves The Right To Reschedule Any Move Due To Inclement Weather, Unsanitary Or Unsafe Conditions Of Structure, Misrepresentation Of The Size Of Move Or If You Are Not Prepared (I.E.: Your Personal Contents Are Not Packed)

We Do Consider Many Things Before Calling You To Reschedule, So Please Try To Be Cooperative In The Event We Do So. The Safety Of Your Goods And The Crew Must Be Foremost In Our Effort To Assist You.

Engineered Wood, Particle Board Or Pressboard

Limitation Of Liability On Pressboard, Particle Board And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture

Furniture Manufactured From Pressboard, Particleboard And/Or Engineered Wood Is Designed To Go Into A Box From The Manufacturer To The Retailer And Then To The End User Unassembled. It Is Not Constructed To Withstand The Normal Stress Of A Move As An Assembled Unit. Most Is Not Designed With The Extra Wood Structural Pieces To Adequately Brace The Unit For Movement Out Of Or Into A Residence, Nor The Normal Truck Vibration Even In Air-Ride Trailers. Usually Chips Or Dents Are Not Repairable. Surface Impressions Can Be Made On The Furniture When Writing On A Single Piece Of Paper. Assembly Instructions Frequently Suggest That The Connecting Hardware Pieces Be Glued In Place. This Does Not Significantly Improve The Structural Integrity Of The Pieces, But Does Make Disassembly Impossible Without Creating Substantial, Un-Repairable Damage.

  • Option 1 – I/We Choose To Disassemble All Pressboard, Particleboard And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture Prior To The Move. I/We Assume All Responsibility For Damage To The Pressboard, Particleboard And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture, Which May Occur During The Disassembly Of The Furniture.
  • Option 2 – I/We Have Engaged The Services Of Another Individual Or Company To Disassemble All Pressboard, Particleboard And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture Prior To The Move. I/We Assume All Responsibility For Damage, Which May Occur To The Pressboard, Particleboard And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture During The Disassembly Of The Unit(S).
  • Option 3 – I/We Am/Are Tendering Furniture Constructed Of Pressboard, Particleboard And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture Fully Assembled As Part Of Our Move. I/We Understand That Any Claim For Damage To The Pressboard, Particle Board And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture May Be Denied Due To Inherent Vice, Based Upon The Fact That Fully Assembled Pressboard, Particle Board And/Or Engineered Wood Furniture Is Inherently Susceptible To Damage As Outlined Above.

Valuation Coverage

Valuation - State Of South Carolina On Shipments Declared Or Deemed Released To A Value Equal To Or Exceeding $1.25 Time The Actual Total Weight (In Pounds) Of The Shipment, The Following Valuation Charges Will Apply:

  • On All Shipments With A Release Value - For Each $100.00 Or Fraction Thereof, Of Released Value Or Declared Value – .90 Per $100.00.
  • On All Shipments With Replacement Coverage - Rates Available From Individual Carrier
  • On Shipments Or Portions Thereof Which Also Involve Storage-In-Transit, The Following Additional Valuation Charges Will Apply:
  • Or Each Storage Period Of 30 (Thirty) Days Or Fraction Thereof, The Additional Valuation Rate Of 15 (Fifteen) Percent Of Applicable Storage-In-Transit Rate.
  • Note: If The Shipper Wished To Avoid These Additional Charges, He Must Agree That If Any Articles Are Lost Or Damaged, The Carrier’S Liability Will Not Exceed 60 (Sixty) Cents Per Pound For The Actual Weight For Any Lost Or Damaged Article Or Articles In The Shipment.

Full Value Protection

Liability For The Replacement Value Of Lost Or Damaged Goods. In Terms Of Protection, This Is The Preferred Choice. However, There Is An Additional Cost For This Valuation Coverage... When Considering Additional Valuation At An Additional Charge, It Is Necessary To Provide Any Articles You Are Moving That Holds A Value Exceeding $100 A Pound. High Value Inventory Form Will Be Required To Detail These Items And Signature From Both Parties Is Required

There Are Limits On Value, And You Must Notify The Mover Of All Goods Worth Over $100 A Pound. This Includes Jewelry, Electronic Equipment, Etc. You Can Choose To Opt Out And Receive Only Released Value Coverage.

Released Value Protection

Released Value Coverage Is Offered By Moving Companies At No Additional Charge, But The Protection Is Minimal. The Mover Assumes Liability At A Minimum Of $0.60/Lb. Per Article For Interstate And International Moves. For Example, If Your Mover Loses Or Damages A 10-Pound Television Valued At $1,000, You Will Only Receive $6.00 In Compensation (60 Cents X 10 Pounds).

Third-Party Insurance

You Also Have The Option Of Purchasing Insurance From An Outside Company. All My Sons Is Liable Under The Released Value Protection Plan. The Remaining Amount Is Recovered From The Third-Party Insurer, Before Purchasing Valuation / Insurance; Check Your Homeowner'S Insurance Policy To See If You'Re Already Covered, Although Generally This Is Not The Case.

Payment Is Accepted Via All Major Credit Cards, Cashiers Check, Certified Check, Money Orders Or Cash.
