1. American Shorthair
If you’re planning to have a cat as a pet in your apartment, the American Shorthair cat is a social, mild-tempered cat that will enjoy your company just as much as you enjoy theirs. American Shorthair cats are great for apartments so long as you are around to interact with them. However, like most cats, the American Shorthair cat is also good at entertaining itself with toys and a nice window to look out of.
