Greenacres At a Glance
Centrally located in Palm Beach County, Greenacres was incorporated in 1926 and has steadily grown ever since. Greenacres encompasses about six square miles and is home to around 38,000 residents. This financially stable, safe, and family-oriented community is considered one of the “100 Best Communities for Young People” according to the America’s Promise- Alliance for Youth, and has been recognized for its natural preservation by the Nationaol Arbor Day Foundation as a consecutive recipient of the “Tree City USA” title since 1992.
There is a fantastic school system in Greenacres, as well as a sprawling park system that boasts 11 public parks that together make up 93 acres. The city borders on Okeeheelee Park, which sprawls over 1,700 acres of green space for youth, adult, and senior classes and activities.
