If you are interested in learning more about the history of Utah, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers Memorial Museum is a great option when looking for free things to do in West Valley City. The museum is dedicated to providing historical and educational information to the public about the men, women and children that founded Utah. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4pm except for Wednesdays. If you are hoping to make a later trip to the museum, it is open until 7:30 pm on Wednesdays.
