The importance of exercise and physical fitness have been long-preached by doctors and health nuts everywhere, yet for some reason, the average gym in America only sees about 30% of their members regularly. While many claim that there is “no time” to go to the gym, that is mostly an untrue cop-out for dedicating free time to watching television, cooking, having a glass of wine, or reading. While these aren’t horrible activities to take part in, they do not contribute to your health. You should rotate your nightly schedule to include physical exercise at least three nights a week, unless you work out in the mornings.
Locally, you can get your exercise done outside—not necessarily at the gym. Once you’ve received clearance from your doctor that you are in good health to exercise, why not think outside of the box. Running laps or along riverfronts, or biking through downtown. Start slow and built up endurance, and you’ll be more likely to stick with it than if you were to burn out in a few weeks of extreme activity.
Always stretch, and always warm-up. Play tennis, go for a swim, or challenge your significant other to one-on-one basketball. You’ll reduce stress, increase endorphins, and all around feel better about yourself and your life. The Tulsa movers want to see you live a long, healthy life! Remember, your home, your family and your job are only a few areas of your life to keep in check. Begin to get your body and mind in shape today and feel the benefits for the rest of your life!
