More Savings You Can Use
Simple Savings IX

We're narrowing down on our simple ways to save for this week.  Below are a few more to consider:

  • Check the air pressure in your tires.  You can improve your gas mileage by at least 5% with properly inflated tires.
  • Keep your regularly scheduled maintenance on your vehicle.  This way you can catch items before they become a big issue.
  • Arrange a plan to liquidate debt.  This plan should include short term and long term goals that tackle all of your bills and produce a decent savings.
  • Look at ways to cut costs on regular bills.  For instance your cell phone bill, cable or satellite TV bill.
  • Combine your student loans.
  • When signing up for service, ask for fees to be waived.  It never hurts to ask.  In this climate many businesses are concerned more about garnering your business for the long haul and not a simple one time up-front fee.
