The average rent in Oklahoma City goes for about $543 and the median household income is of $52,917. Oklahoma City is home to Devon Eneregy and Chesapeake Energy and has a relatively strong economy thanks to the oil and natural gas industries. The asking rent jumped about 3.8% compared to last year’s rental prices with a vacancy rate of about 8.6%.
