Living in Little Rock: A
Welcome From All My Sons Moving & Storage
Situated along the banks of the Arkansas River among the stone landmark that gave
the city its name, Little Rock has recently gained national attention and high praise
for supporting one of the country’s most diverse economies. With beautiful scenery
in every direction and a comfortable population of over 184,000 residents, it’s
no wonder your Little Rock movers from All My Sons love to call this capital city
home.
The great outdoors take center stage in the lives of many citizens of The Rock..
There are over 50 parks and recreational areas in Little Rock, and even hotspots
like the River Market utilize the Arkansas River as a stunning backdrop. The River
Market’s two large open-air pavilions host several local arts and crafts vendors
as well as the Little Rock Farmers’ Market during the many months of favorable weather.
The pavilions and meeting rooms also hold private events, and the nearby Riverfest
Amphitheatre keeps a steady schedule of concerts and city-wide celebrations throughout
the year.
Little Rock boasts over 700 restaurants within city limits, and even more dining
experiences are available in nearby Pulaski
County cities like Maumelle, Jacksonville,
and Sherwood. Dozens of museums and historic landmarks are everywhere, including
the William J. Clinton Presidential Center. A tribute to the former president’s
accomplishments, the center includes the Clinton Presidential Library, the offices
of the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton School of Public Service, and a full-scale
replica of the Clinton-era Oval Office.
As one of the top 25 metropolitan areas for business, Little Rock is a comfortable
setting for local moving companies and Little Rock movers alike! Further proof of
Little Rock’s business climate can be found in a recent announcement released by
the Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) in June 2008. HP, one of the world’s leading IT
companies, will build a state-of-the-art customer service and technical support
center in Conway, a neighboring city just north of Little Rock. Upon completion,
the new HP center will hire an estimated 1,200 employees.
There’s much more to learn about Little Rock, but there’s plenty of time for that
after your move! Let our All My Sons movers in Little Rock welcome you home!
