Money Magazine named Fishers the 10th best place to live in the nation in it's July 2008 issue. Fishers is the only Indianapolis community named to the list that listed 100 municipalities. A strong economy, good schools, and home prices were cited as contributed to Fishers' strong ranking.
Fishers is also one of eight communities to be named in the last three Best Places to Live lists for communities with a population of over 40,000. Fishers was ranked as 24th in 2005 and 33rd in 2006. In 2007, Fishers was exempt from consideration because the magazine focused only on communities with populations under 40,000 people.
Money Magazine states of Fishers, "When it comes to smart planning and sheer livability, others places could learn a lot from this little city in the Midwest."
This announcement follows the July 2008 edition of Forbes Magazine naming Hamilton County as the best county in the country to raise a family.
Although the economy may not be as booming today as it was in July of 2008. Fishers continues to offer what Christi Wolf, President of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce, calls the "Fishers factor - where good business and quality of life mix."
All My Sons Moving and Storage is happy to relocate families and businesses to the lovely town of Fishers.
