Hypoluxo At a Glance

Hypoluxo is a sleepy and restful town located near the bustling metros of West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Hypoluxo is very much a quiet, coastal town that is proud of its community, history, and natural surroundings. One of the main attractions in the town is the Hypoluxo Scrub Natural Area, which allows tourists and residents alike to see what Hypoluxo looked like prior to development. Nestled along the Intracoastal waterway, the town of Hypoluxo is a cozy and friendly place that is home to about 3,000 residents as of the most recent census data (2008).

The town celebrates their anniversary each year in July and historical figures such as the Barefoot Mailman are a claim to historical fame for the area. The Hypoluxo area was used in the past as an illegal dumping site, but county officials and those with faith in the area have restored it to a beautiful suburb that resemble what it looked like hundreds of years ago when the Seminole Indians inhabited it and when the Spanish and British first laid eyes upon it.

Today, Hypoluxo is a close knit community that is an easy commute to larger metros like West Palm Beach and Boca Raton. Hypoluxo is an ideal community to live in if you want to be convenient to big city amenities but live in a smaller region where neighbors all seem to know one another. The Hypoluxo Town Hall (which still has a hammock hanging out front to commemorate the Barefoot Mailman and his means of sleeping along the Star Route) has much more information about the town of Hypoluxo and how it came to be what it is today.

If you are looking for a small town in South Florida where you can live among the Florida that we seem to only know in history books, consider relocating to the quiet development of Hypoluxo. Your neighborhood Hypoluxo movers can help you move today!
