The Parent’s Guide to Denver Easter Activities

 

The spring season is here and with it brings one of everyone’s favorite holidays, Easter! Parents will find themselves on the hunt for Denver Easter activities to bring their kids to. To make life easy, the top Denver Movers have compiled a list of all the locations where the Easter bunny is expected to make an appearance below:

 

  1. World’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt

    Location: Copper Mountain Resort

    When: April 16th starting at 8 a.m.

     

    This event is sure to please with 65,000 eggs spread over 2,500 acres of land. Each age group will have a specially designed hunt including a mountain hunt for adults. Enjoy an Easter breakfast with the Character Rainbow Fish in the Conference Center from 8 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $21 for kids ages 4-9.

     

  2. Golden Bunny Classic

    Location: Winter Park Resort, 85 Parsenn Road, Winter Park

    When: April 16th starting at 11 a.m.

    The Golden Bunny Classic will offer families plenty to do with Winter Park Willie and the Easter Bunny coming together to host a giant egg hunt and the famous Golden Bunny Race. Children age 5 and under can gather at the base of the mountain at 11am to hunt for eggs. Those who will be skiing will meet at 11:45am at Porcupine and Bobcat Trails in Discovery Park, where Winter Park Willie will lead the on-mountain hunt. The Golden Bunny Race begins at 12:15pm and lasts until 1pm. The un-timed, FUN race begins at the top Lower Village Way trail. Racers may race as many times as they wish. Children must have a valid lift ticket to access the race course.

     

  3. Easter Bunny Photos & Brunch

    Location: Downtown Aquarium Restaurant, 700 Water St., Denver

    When: Sunday April 16th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Cost: $39.99/adults; $34.99/seniors (65+); $19.99/kids ages 3-10; Free/kids 2 and under

    The Downtown Aquarium’s Easter brunch will feature over 40 entrees, desserts and appetizers to choose from in addition to fabulous cocktails. The Easter Bunny will be in the building to spread cheer and take photos. Don’t forget to bring your child’s basket as they participate in the egg hunt!

     

  4. City of Wheatridge Egg Hunt

    Location: Panorama Park, W 35th Ave & Fenton St, Wheat Ridge, CO

    When: Saturday April 8th starting at 9:45am

    For over 40 years, the City of Wheatridge has hosted a traditional egg hunt. With over 4,000 eggs spread out around Panorama Park, parents will be pleased to know that among Denver Easter activities, the City of Wheatridge Egg Hunt is free of charge and offers plenty of activities for children. There will be a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny including photos and Easter basket prize drawings. You may even find an opportunity to say hi to your local Denver Movers!

     

  5. Easter Party Fun

Location: Broomfield Community Center, 280 Spader Way

Cost: $8/residents; $10/non-residents

When: April 13, 10-11:30 a.m.

Bring your toddlers to this family friendly Easter event. There will be no shortage of things to do with games, inflatables, prizes and most importantly, the Easter Bunny.
