Two Corpus Christi residents are about to have the most stress-free moving experience either of them have ever had. In January of last year, Corpus Christie teen, Taylor Berry, moved to Houston with his mother into an apartment near the Texas Children’s Hospital where the young boy
awaited the arrival of his much-needed donor heart. When Taylor was a four-year-old, he received his first heart transplant. Complications made his first operation a difficult experience both for him and his family; however, his condition eventually stabilized, and Taylor lived a pretty normal life for about ten years until his donor heart failed requiring a second transplant. Taylor and his mother, Tamara, moved to Houston away from Taylor’s father and sister where Taylor waited for his new heart which he received in mid-July. Now that doctors have approved Taylor’s return to Corpus Christi, he and his mom are packing boxes and bins in preparation for their much anticipated move back to Corpus!
Taylor is eager to get back to being his old self again; surfing soccer and baseball are all activities he plans to enjoy once he has fully recovered from his transplant. Another item on Taylor’s docket; starting high school! Much has changed since Taylor's
move to Houston back in January; Taylor is enrolling in a local Corpus Christie high school, and his sister, Aubrey, now has a boyfriend! She says that Taylor doesn’t know about her boyfriend yet; yes much will be different once Taylor moves back home, but some things never change as Aubrey does expect him to tease her once he learns of her new boyfriend!
Your
Corpus Christi movers are extremely happy for Taylor and his family, aside from being happy about the move back to Corpus the Berry family is surely happy to have no more stressful thoughts about Taylor’s health. Come January, Taylor’s doctors expect him to have recovered enough to start having fun and being a kid again! But first things first, Taylor and his mom still have moving to do! Your Corpus Christi movers wish them a fantastic moving day!
