Making It A Little Easier

Ok, so you found your new home and its time to move in. The hard part is done right? From personal experience, this is where the hard part begins! Time to start packing up and moving! Taking a look around the room, you realize that you are leaving here with 20 times more than you started with. The dishes, books, toys, and more, where do we begin? Number one, you should take a deep breath and relax before you begin the packing process. Moving requires plenty of patience and organization. It can be very overwhelming and become stressful for you, but remembering that patience and organization is key.

All My Sons moving and Storage is here to help you move quickly and efficiently, but of course the more organized the better! We are happy to pack up your belongings for you, but if you are planning to do the packing we can help get the process started to make it a little easier on you!

Boxes, boxes and more boxes are going to be a big help of course. Understand that you should get more boxes than you think you need! Putting Large clear lables on the boxes and setting them in a row can help you realize that each box is a home for each item. Your going to need the small, medium, large, and wardrobe boxes. Remember, the more you have the better. Utilize each box to the fullest. Pack everything secure so nothing should get broken along the ride. Things that are fragile, make sure this is written in large, bold letters.

Understanding that each item has a home, and labeling the boxes with large labels can visually help you become organized. Here are a few important label titles: Breakables , non-breakables , very fragile , this side up . Items that are breakable, if bubble wrap is not at hand, wrap with newspaper. This will help them from bumbing and breaking during the move.

Ok, get your boxes and supplies ready, take a deep breath, turn on really loud music, and get started!
