| Party and Save This Weekend |
| Super Bowl 2010 Party |
A few weeks ago I shared some money saving tips for the playoffs.
Below is just a recap as we look toward this weekend’s big game.
- Now remember don’t try and do everything yourself. Have
your guests bring their favorite party dish or dessert and plan your
menu accordingly.
- No décor
needed for the party. Admittance to the soiree should be a New Orleans
Saints jersey; okay I’m a Saints fan, but whatever team paraphernalia
or favorite team colors.
- Plan simple activities for
the kids. Purchase posters for the kids and allow them to create
something for their favorite team. Make sure you take pictures and
allow them to take their creation home.
- Create a unique beverage for everyone and purchase maybe one or two others. Choices are great, but give only a few.
- Have
a few of your guest bring a few homemade desserts instead of purchasing
anything costly. You know the kids love the ooey gooey stuff, so
jello, pudding etc is a cool purchase for them. A jello mound in the
shape of a football would be a hit.
There you have it. A Superbowl party on a budget. GO SAINTS GO…sorry. Enjoy the game!
