More Savings You Can Use
Simple Savings X
TGIF!  Here are the final simple savings you can use for this week:
  • Safeguard your electronics with a surge protector.  A power surge can adversely affect your valuables.  We encountered a bad storm and our television was hit by a power surge.  We ended up purchasing a new one.  The surge protector would’ve kept money in our pockets.
  • Consider using a true smart power strip for your entertainment unit and computer.  This device will power down every other component when the main item is turned off.  You save considerably on your energy bill using this equipment.
  • Alleviate any cable or satellite channels you don’t use.  Even consider getting a lesser package to receive the best in savings.
  • We covered this one before but it’s worth repeating.  Use online bill pay.  This free service stops credit card and phone service fees.  With a simple click of the mouse you can pay your bill electronically.
  • Obtain an automatic draft payment plan for your student loans.  Setting up this automatic repayment system saves you some money each month.
Again, these are just a few simple ideas to help cut cost.  Have a great weekend and I look forward to sharing with you again next week!
