Nature lovers can indulge in nearby locations like the Myakka River and the Gamble
Plantation. Or spend a day at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. The funky artist
community where local artists display their work against the backdrop of a clean,
progressive city.
St. Armonds Circle offers fine dining and exquisite boutiques, and Sarasota hosts
many festivals and art shows throughout the year. First Fridays on Palm Avenue,
Cinco de Mayo, White on State, Fourth of July, Off Shore Grand Prix, and the Sarasota
Film Festival are only a few of the local events residents of Sarasota look forward
to each year.
